Today's snowstorm was a blessing in many ways. The opportunity to work from home was gift. We thought we'd be shoveling most of the day. But one of our neighbors just purchased a new snowblower and was quite enthusiastic about testing it around the neighborhood. We also met a new neighbor who just purchased the house behind us and will be moving in with his family in a couple of months. We got to chat with another neighbor across the street. It was a day to slow down and appreciate the simple joys of life.
